Petal Paper Crafts was born out of my love of being arty, crafty and enjoying colouring in. I was your typical Blue Peter and Take Hart girl in the 1980's. As a full time carer first to my mum (who sadly passed away in 2023) and now to my dad I find colouring in before bedtime the ideal way to wind down and just forget about the day's stresses. I do so much colouring in I was getting bored of the same sort of colouring books that is aimed at adults so decided to make my own pages.
My love of junk journals came about a few years ago, there's nothing better than making a pretty and functional journal whether it's for photos, a diary of the special events happening in your life or your day to day musings. Digital downloads are an ideal way of making journals but I noticed that many kits are quite expensive unless they're on sale, which is great if you have money available when the sale is on, not so great if you're waiting for pay day. Being on a limited budget myself I wanted to make kits that are affordable at all times and will endeavour to keep the costs as low as I can so everyone can enjoy making something special.
In May this year my dad came into business with me and with his help I was able to expand the business to include sublimated items. We started selling at weekend events and farmer's markets and now we are concentrating on selling online. We offer a range of gifts and items that can be personalised by both photo and text.
